Specialising particularly in sash windows, Church and Gooderham are able to offer replacements in wood which keeps the original appearance of the building ; essesntial for historic houses or listed buildings. Our sash windows are built to reproduce the mouldings and detailed characteristics of traditional timber windows and the quality of the timber used, our experience in using the traditional methods and regular maintenance ensures that your sash windows will last for many years.
However, we also build ornate arched windows or even circular windows using the latest machine technology combined with our own woodwork craftsmanship and this is immensely popular.
Similarly our doors and frames are built to suit the house. Over the years for example there may have been some subsidence which resulted in the door being out of alignment yet we can build a door to fit to perfection, using all the traditional methods.
Customers may request circular windows in the doors or we may be asked to produce barn doors from scratch and each piece of work will have the same attention to detail that has become our trade mark.
